Welcome to www.groupaustin.com and I appreciate you taking the time to listen to my thoughts on the current market conditions and how it will affect you. For those of you who don't know, prior to working in real estate I was a host of many radio shows in major cities such as Dallas, Boston, and Los Angeles to name a few. One if the things that I learned from over 10 years in that industry was that there is no regulation over what broadcasters say. This directly relates to the real estate industry because people get 100% of their information about market conditions from the media. I am here to set the record straight. So far this year, I have sold just over 30 homes and the Austin Group is set to sell between 60-70 homes this year. My question to you is how can a team of 5 people sell this many homes with an average days on market of around 45 days if the market is so bad? This market is purging the "get rich quick" real estate agents and those left remaining are the true professionals that get the job done. In my opinion, my ultimate job is to provide sound council to you with the buying or selling of a home. With the economy in dire straits, you need to have a real estate professional in your tool box that you can trust has a brain and will look out for your best interest. We do!
